Mudras
Mudras are believed to have the power to influence the flow of energy in the body and mind, helping to enhance physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Mudras are often used to redirect and balance the body's subtle energy, known as "prana" or "chi." Each finger or hand position in a mudra is associated with specific elements, chakras (energy centers), or aspects of consciousness. By performing mudras, practitioners aim to activate these energies and achieve various physical and mental benefits.
Mudras can be practiced sitting, standing, or even during specific yoga poses (asanas). Some common mudras include Gyan Mudra, Chin Mudra, Anjali Mudra, Prana Mudra, and Dhyana Mudra.
